YUva VIgyani KAryakram (YUVIKA) is a learning and awareness programme conducted by Indian Space Research Organisation.
It aims to provide basic knowledge of Space Technology, Space Science, and Space Applications to school students, especially those from rural areas.

The programme is designed to:
- Promote scientific awareness among young students
- Introduce emerging trends in science and technology
- Encourage students to pursue careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)
- Build a strong foundation for future scientists and innovators
🎓 Eligibility & Selection
- Students who have completed Class 8 and are currently in Class 9 are eligible
- 3 students from each State/UT are selected every year
- Covers CBSE, ICSE, and State Board students
📝 Selection Criteria
- Academic performance in Class 8
- Participation in extracurricular activities
- Special preference to rural students
- In case of a tie, younger students are given priority
