President Inaugurates Bastar Pandum Festival in Chhattisgarh
President Droupadi Murmu inaugurated the Bastar Pandum Festival in Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, highlighting the rich tribal heritage of the Bastar region. The festival showcases Bastar’s indigenous culture through dance, music, crafts, cuisine, and traditional art forms.
More than 700 artists from 84 teams are participating across 12 cultural disciplines, making it one of the largest tribal cultural gatherings in central India. The President noted that Bastar has witnessed improved security conditions after decades of Maoist violence and expressed hope for lasting peace and development. She described the festival as a powerful window into Bastar’s living traditions and cultural resilience.
छत्तीसगढ़ में बस्तर पंडुम महोत्सव का उद्घाटन
राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मु ने छत्तीसगढ़ के जगदलपुर में बस्तर पंडुम महोत्सव का उद्घाटन किया और बस्तर क्षेत्र की समृद्ध जनजातीय संस्कृति को रेखांकित किया। यह महोत्सव नृत्य, संगीत, हस्तशिल्प, खान-पान और पारंपरिक कला के माध्यम से बस्तर की सांस्कृतिक विरासत को प्रस्तुत करता है।
इस आयोजन में 84 टीमों के 700 से अधिक कलाकार 12 सांस्कृतिक विधाओं में भाग ले रहे हैं, जो इसे मध्य भारत के सबसे बड़े जनजातीय उत्सवों में से एक बनाता है। राष्ट्रपति ने लंबे समय तक माओवादी हिंसा के बाद क्षेत्र में सुरक्षा स्थिति में सुधार और विकास की नई आशा को रेखांकित किया तथा इस महोत्सव को बस्तर की जीवंत परंपराओं की झलक बताया।
India, Seychelles Strengthen Ties on Maritime Trade and Blue Economy
India and Seychelles agreed to deepen cooperation in maritime trade, the blue economy, and sustainable development during the Indo-Seychelles Business Roundtable held in Mumbai. The discussions marked 50 years of diplomatic relations between the two nations.
The talks focused on India’s MAHASAGAR vision for cooperation in the Indian Ocean region and Mumbai’s growing role as a maritime and logistics hub. Both countries expressed interest in expanding collaboration in port development, renewable energy, maritime infrastructure, and waterfront projects to support inclusive economic growth.
भारत और सेशेल्स के बीच समुद्री व्यापार व ब्लू इकॉनमी पर सहयोग
भारत और सेशेल्स ने मुंबई में आयोजित Indo-Seychelles Business Roundtable के दौरान समुद्री व्यापार, ब्लू इकॉनमी और सतत विकास में सहयोग बढ़ाने पर सहमति व्यक्त की। यह बैठक दोनों देशों के बीच कूटनीतिक संबंधों के 50 वर्ष पूरे होने के अवसर पर आयोजित हुई।
चर्चा भारत के MAHASAGAR विज़न और भारतीय महासागर क्षेत्र में सहयोग को मजबूत करने पर केंद्रित रही। मुंबई को एक उभरते समुद्री केंद्र के रूप में प्रस्तुत किया गया। दोनों देशों ने बंदरगाह विकास, नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा, समुद्री अवसंरचना और वॉटरफ्रंट परियोजनाओं में साझेदारी बढ़ाने पर जोर दिया।
India–Malaysia Prime Ministerial Visit: Key Agreements
India and Malaysia signed multiple agreements during the Prime Ministerial visit, covering disaster management, anti-corruption cooperation, UN peacekeeping, security, health, and medicine. Notes were exchanged on semiconductor cooperation and vocational education and training (TVET).
A landmark agreement was signed on cross-border digital payments between NPCI International Payments Limited (NIPL) and Malaysia’s PAYNET SDN BHD. The two sides also agreed on a framework under the International Big Cats Alliance (IBCA) and decided to establish a new Indian Consulate General in Malaysia to strengthen people-to-people ties.
भारत-मलेशिया प्रधानमंत्री यात्रा: प्रमुख समझौते
भारत और मलेशिया के बीच प्रधानमंत्री स्तर की यात्रा के दौरान आपदा प्रबंधन, भ्रष्टाचार-रोधी सहयोग, संयुक्त राष्ट्र शांति मिशन, सुरक्षा, स्वास्थ्य और चिकित्सा से जुड़े कई समझौते किए गए। सेमीकंडक्टर सहयोग और व्यावसायिक शिक्षा एवं प्रशिक्षण (TVET) पर भी समझौता हुआ।
NPCI International Payments Limited (NIPL) और मलेशिया की PAYNET SDN BHD के बीच सीमा-पार डिजिटल भुगतान का महत्वपूर्ण समझौता किया गया। दोनों देशों ने International Big Cats Alliance (IBCA) के तहत एक फ्रेमवर्क पर सहमति जताई और मलेशिया में नया भारतीय Consulate General खोलने का निर्णय लिया।
India–Netherlands Green Hydrogen Partnership Launched
India and the Netherlands launched a Green Hydrogen Partnership to strengthen cooperation in clean energy research and innovation. The initiative includes a Hydrogen Fellowship Programme and an academic partnership between Indian Institutes of Technology and the University of Groningen.
The collaboration focuses on hydrogen technology development, system integration, and capacity building. It directly supports India’s National Green Hydrogen Mission and contributes to achieving the country’s long-term 2070 Net-Zero emissions target.
भारत-नीदरलैंड ग्रीन हाइड्रोजन साझेदारी
भारत और नीदरलैंड ने स्वच्छ ऊर्जा अनुसंधान और नवाचार को बढ़ावा देने के लिए ग्रीन हाइड्रोजन साझेदारी शुरू की। इस पहल के अंतर्गत Hydrogen Fellowship Programme और IITs तथा यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ ग्रोनिंगन के बीच शैक्षणिक सहयोग शामिल है।
यह साझेदारी हाइड्रोजन तकनीक के विकास, सिस्टम इंटीग्रेशन और क्षमता निर्माण पर केंद्रित है। यह भारत के National Green Hydrogen Mission को समर्थन देती है और 2070 तक Net-Zero उत्सर्जन लक्ष्य हासिल करने में सहायक होगी।
