1. IIT भुवनेश्वर ने विकसित किया ‘ArsenSafe’ उपकरण

IIT भुवनेश्वर के शोधकर्ताओं ने ArsenSafe नामक एक पोर्टेबल उपकरण विकसित किया है, जो पीने के पानी में आर्सेनिक की मात्रा का तेजी से पता लगा सकता है। यह उपकरण नैनो टेक्नोलॉजी और मशीन लर्निंग पर आधारित है। इसकी सहायता से बिना प्रयोगशाला और विशेष रसायनों के पानी की गुणवत्ता का परीक्षण किया जा सकता है। यह सार्वजनिक स्वास्थ्य एजेंसियों, पर्यावरण संगठनों और गैर-सरकारी संस्थाओं के लिए अत्यंत उपयोगी सिद्ध होगा।

2. संजय लोहिया RBI और SBI के बोर्ड में निदेशक नियुक्त

केंद्र सरकार ने संजय लोहिया को भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (RBI) तथा भारतीय स्टेट बैंक (SBI) के केंद्रीय बोर्ड में निदेशक के रूप में नामित किया है। वे 1994 बैच के असम-मेघालय कैडर के IAS अधिकारी हैं और वर्तमान में वित्त मंत्रालय के वित्तीय सेवा विभाग (DFS) के सचिव के रूप में कार्यरत हैं। उनकी नियुक्ति से सरकार और प्रमुख वित्तीय संस्थानों के बीच बेहतर समन्वय की उम्मीद है।

3. असम और यूरोपीय संघ ने शुरू किया ब्लू वैली क्लस्टर

असम सरकार और यूरोपीय संघ (European Union) ने मिलकर गुवाहाटी में Blue Valley Cluster लॉन्च किया। इसका उद्देश्य पूर्वोत्तर भारत में सतत मूल्य श्रृंखला और नवाचार पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र को बढ़ावा देना है। यह परियोजना अगरवुड, AYUSH उत्पादों, ऑर्गेनिक खाद्य पदार्थों, फ्लेवर और फ्रेगरेंस उद्योगों पर केंद्रित है तथा किसानों और स्टार्टअप्स को वैश्विक बाजारों से जोड़ने का प्रयास करेगी।

4. नई दिल्ली में हुई नीति आयोग की 11वीं गवर्निंग काउंसिल बैठक

नीति आयोग की 11वीं गवर्निंग काउंसिल बैठक नई दिल्ली के राष्ट्रपति भवन सांस्कृतिक केंद्र में आयोजित की गई। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की अध्यक्षता में आयोजित इस बैठक का विषय था “Inclusive Human Development for Viksit Bharat @2047”। बैठक में शिक्षा, कौशल विकास, रोजगार, स्वास्थ्य और सामाजिक समानता जैसे महत्वपूर्ण विषयों पर चर्चा की गई।

5. BIS ने जारी किया सामुदायिक बीज बैंक हेतु नया मानक

भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो (BIS) ने IS 20201:2026 मानक जारी किया है, जो सामुदायिक बीज बैंकों (Community Seed Banks) के प्रबंधन और स्वदेशी फसल किस्मों के संरक्षण के लिए दिशा-निर्देश प्रदान करता है। यह मानक बीज संग्रह, भंडारण, परीक्षण और दस्तावेजीकरण से संबंधित प्रक्रियाओं को व्यवस्थित करेगा तथा खाद्य सुरक्षा और जैव विविधता संरक्षण को बढ़ावा देगा।

6. जिनेवा में आयोजित हुआ 114वाँ अंतरराष्ट्रीय श्रम सम्मेलन

114वाँ International Labour Conference (ILC) स्विट्जरलैंड के जिनेवा शहर में आयोजित किया गया। सम्मेलन में श्रमिक अधिकारों, सामाजिक न्याय, रोजगार सृजन और लैंगिक समानता जैसे विषयों पर चर्चा हुई। भारत का प्रतिनिधित्व केंद्रीय राज्य मंत्री शोभा करंदलाजे ने किया। जिनेवा अंतरराष्ट्रीय श्रम संगठन (ILO) का मुख्यालय भी है।

7. मई 2026 में CPI मुद्रास्फीति दर 3.93% रही

राष्ट्रीय सांख्यिकी कार्यालय (NSO) द्वारा जारी आंकड़ों के अनुसार मई 2026 में अखिल भारतीय उपभोक्ता मूल्य सूचकांक (CPI) आधारित मुद्रास्फीति दर 3.93% दर्ज की गई। CPI देश में खुदरा महंगाई को मापने का प्रमुख सूचकांक है और इसका उपयोग मौद्रिक नीति, आर्थिक योजना तथा मूल्य स्थिरता से जुड़े निर्णयों में किया जाता है।

8. JNPA को वैश्विक स्तर पर 22वीं रैंक प्राप्त

जवाहरलाल नेहरू पोर्ट अथॉरिटी (JNPA) ने Container Port Performance Index (CPPI) 2025 में वैश्विक स्तर पर 22वाँ स्थान प्राप्त किया। यह भारत का सर्वश्रेष्ठ प्रदर्शन करने वाला कंटेनर पोर्ट बना रहा। यह रैंकिंग बंदरगाह की दक्षता, टर्नअराउंड समय और परिचालन क्षमता के आधार पर दी जाती है।

1. IIT Bhubaneswar Develops ‘ArsenSafe’ Water Testing Device

Researchers at IIT Bhubaneswar have developed ArsenSafe, a portable handheld device capable of rapidly detecting arsenic contamination in drinking water. The device combines nanotechnology and machine learning to assess water quality without requiring laboratory infrastructure or specialised chemicals. Developed by the Sensors and Spectroscopy Research Group, ArsenSafe is expected to assist public health agencies, environmental organisations, and NGOs in monitoring water safety in arsenic-affected regions.

2. Sanjay Lohiya Appointed Director on RBI and SBI Boards
