NIELIT to Establish India’s First Quantum & AI University in Amaravati
The National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) and the Government of Andhra Pradesh have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to set up India’s first dedicated Quantum & Artificial Intelligence University in Amaravati.
The proposed campus will focus on emerging and frontier technologies such as quantum computing, artificial intelligence, advanced algorithms, and next-generation digital systems. It will feature advanced research and development laboratories aimed at building a premier innovation hub and nurturing India’s next-generation technology talent.

Manipur MLA Vungzagin Valte Passes Away at 61
Indian politician Vungzagin Valte passed away in Gurugram at the age of 61 after a prolonged illness. He had suffered serious injuries during a mob assault in Imphal amid the 2023 Kuki-Zo–Meitei ethnic violence.
Born on 3 April 1964, he was a three-time Member of the Manipur Legislative Assembly from the Thanlon constituency in Pherzawl district. He was initially elected as a member of the Indian National Congress and later joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in 2017.

प्रस्तावित परिसर उभरती और अग्रणी तकनीकों जैसे क्वांटम कंप्यूटिंग, आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस, उन्नत एल्गोरिदम और अगली पीढ़ी की डिजिटल प्रणालियों पर केंद्रित होगा। इसमें अत्याधुनिक अनुसंधान एवं विकास प्रयोगशालाएँ स्थापित की जाएँगी, जिनका उद्देश्य भारत को एक प्रमुख नवाचार केंद्र के रूप में विकसित करना और नई पीढ़ी की तकनीकी प्रतिभा को तैयार करना है।

इस साझेदारी के अंतर्गत CSIR–NIScPR में आपदा प्रबंधन में पीएचडी कार्यक्रम प्रारंभ किया जाएगा। साथ ही संयुक्त नीति अनुसंधान और आपदा लचीलापन को मजबूत करने पर भी ध्यान दिया जाएगा।
मणिपुर के विधायक वुंगजागिन वाल्टे का निधन
भारतीय राजनेता वुंगजागिन वाल्टे का 61 वर्ष की आयु में गुरुग्राम में लंबी बीमारी के बाद निधन हो गया। वर्ष 2023 में कुकी-ज़ो–मैतेई जातीय हिंसा के दौरान इंफाल में भीड़ हमले में वे गंभीर रूप से घायल हुए थे।
3 अप्रैल 1964 को जन्मे वाल्टे मणिपुर विधानसभा के तीन बार सदस्य रहे। वे फेर्ज़ावल जिले के थानलोन निर्वाचन क्षेत्र का प्रतिनिधित्व करते थे। प्रारंभ में वे भारतीय राष्ट्रीय कांग्रेस से जुड़े थे, बाद में 2017 में भारतीय जनता पार्टी में शामिल हो गए।
ICMR ने SANVAD 2026 का आयोजन किया
भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान अनुसंधान परिषद (ICMR) ने नई दिल्ली स्थित राष्ट्रीय मलेरिया अनुसंधान संस्थान में SANVAD 2026 का आयोजन किया।
यह वार्षिक सम्मेलन डॉक्टरेट शोधार्थियों के लिए एक राष्ट्रीय मंच प्रदान करता है, जिसका उद्देश्य सहयोग को बढ़ावा देना, शोध गुणवत्ता को सुदृढ़ करना और नवाचार क्षमता का विकास करना है। वर्ष 2027 का आयोजन हैदराबाद स्थित ICMR–राष्ट्रीय पोषण संस्थान में होगा।
गोवा में दावेम और सानवोर्डेम को जोड़ने वाले पुल की आधारशिला
गोवा के मुख्यमंत्री प्रमोद सावंत ने सत्तारी में दावेम और सानवोर्डेम को जोड़ने वाले नए दो-लेन पुल की आधारशिला रखी। यह परियोजना पुराने संकरे एकल-लेन पुल का स्थान लेगी।
₹29.9 करोड़ की यह परियोजना गोवा राज्य अवसंरचना विकास निगम द्वारा लोक निर्माण विभाग के लिए संचालित की जा रही है। इसमें पैदल यात्रियों के लिए फुटपाथ और नए एप्रोच रोड भी शामिल हैं।
भारत और ब्राज़ील के बीच MSME सहयोग हेतु समझौता
भारत के MSME मंत्रालय और ब्राज़ील के उद्यमिता मंत्रालय ने सूक्ष्म, लघु एवं मध्यम उद्यमों के विकास के लिए एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए।
इसका उद्देश्य तकनीक, विशेषज्ञता और बाजार ज्ञान का आदान-प्रदान करना है। प्रमुख फोकस ग्रीन ट्रांज़िशन, हरित वित्त तक पहुंच और वैश्विक मूल्य श्रृंखला में MSMEs के एकीकरण पर है।
IFSCA और IICA के बीच कॉर्पोरेट गवर्नेंस हेतु समझौता
IFSCA और भारतीय कॉर्पोरेट मामलों के संस्थान (IICA) ने GIFT सिटी के वित्तीय पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र में कॉर्पोरेट गवर्नेंस मानकों को मजबूत करने के लिए समझौता किया।
IICA कानून, ESG प्रथाओं और प्रशासनिक ढांचे में प्रशिक्षण एवं नीति समर्थन प्रदान करेगा।
