₹26,000-Cr Kamala Hydroelectric Project Gets PIB Nod
The Public Investment Board (PIB) has officially recommended an investment of ₹26,069.50 crore for the 1,720 MW Kamala Hydroelectric Project in Arunachal Pradesh. This storage-based project, located on the Kamala River (a major tributary of the Subansiri), will feature a 216-meter high concrete gravity dam and an underground powerhouse.
