वरिष्ठ क्रिकेट प्रशासक और पूर्व BCCI अध्यक्ष इंदरजीत सिंह बिंद्रा का नई दिल्ली में 84 वर्ष की उम्र में निधन हो गया। वे 1993 से 1996 तक BCCI के 23वें अध्यक्ष रहे और भारत में क्रिकेट के टीवी/ब्रॉडकास्ट बाजार को खोलने तथा खेल के व्यावसायीकरण में उनकी बड़ी भूमिका रही। 1975 से शुरू हुए उनके लगभग चार दशकों के कार्यकाल ने BCCI को वैश्विक स्तर पर मजबूत आर्थिक शक्ति बनाने में मदद की।
Former BCCI President Inderjit Singh Bindra passed away in New Delhi at the age of 84. He served as BCCI’s 23rd President (1993–1996) and played a key role in opening India’s cricket TV market and commercialising the game. Beginning his career in 1975, his four-decade tenure helped shape BCCI into a global financial powerhouse in sports governance.

RBI के अनुसार 12 सितंबर 2025 को समाप्त सप्ताह में भारत का फॉरेक्स रिजर्व 4.698 अरब डॉलर बढ़कर 702.966 अरब डॉलर पहुंच गया और पहली बार 700 अरब डॉलर का आंकड़ा पार हुआ। विदेशी मुद्रा परिसंपत्तियां 587 अरब डॉलर और स्वर्ण भंडार 92.4 अरब डॉलर रहा (सोने में 2.12 अरब डॉलर की बढ़ोतरी)। 2025 में अब तक भंडार में 53 अरब डॉलर की वृद्धि हुई और यह लगभग 11 महीनों के आयात को कवर कर सकता है।
India’s forex reserves rose by USD 4.698 billion to USD 702.966 billion for the week ended Sept 12, 2025, crossing USD 700 billion for the first time. RBI data showed foreign currency assets at USD 587 billion and gold reserves at USD 92.4 billion (up by USD 2.12 billion). Reserves have gained about USD 53 billion so far in 2025 and can cover around 11 months of imports.

प्रसिद्ध तमिल पंडित और Central Institute of Classical Tamil Studies के पूर्व उपाध्यक्ष प्रो. ज्ञानसुंदरम का चेन्नई में 84 वर्ष की उम्र में निधन हो गया। वे Ilakkiya Mamani पुरस्कार से सम्मानित साहित्य शोधकर्ता थे और Pachaiyappa’s College में तमिल विभागाध्यक्ष रहे। उन्होंने 20+ पुस्तकें लिखीं, पुदुचेरी विश्वविद्यालय में कंबन चेयर संभाली और वैष्णव साहित्य के बड़े विद्वान माने जाते थे।
Eminent Tamil scholar Prof. Gnanasundaram passed away in Chennai at 84. A recipient of the Ilakkiya Mamani award, he was a literary researcher and former Head of Tamil at Pachaiyappa’s College. He authored 20+ books, held the Kamban Chair at Pondicherry University, and was a noted authority on Vaishnava literature.
