Vacancies and Age Limits
English: Total vacancies are approximately 32,388. Age limits are to be calculated as on 01 August 2025. Minimum and maximum age criteria differ by post and category:
- Minimum age: 18 years for Class 1–5 and Class 6–8 posts; 21 years for Class 9–12 posts.
- Maximum age (category-wise): UR (Male) – 37 years; UR (Female) – 40 years; BC/EBC (Male & Female) – 40 years; SC/ST (Male & Female) – 42 years.
- Special School TRE 4.0: Age relaxations as per BPSC rules.
