NITI Aayog released the 4th edition of the Export Preparedness Index (EPI) 2024 to assess States and UTs on readiness to achieve India’s USD 1 trillion export target by 2030. The index is built on four pillars, divided into 13 sub-pillars and 70 indicators. The first edition was released in 2020.
नीति आयोग ने निर्यात तैयारी सूचकांक (EPI) 2024 का चौथा संस्करण जारी किया, जो भारत के 2030 तक 1 ट्रिलियन डॉलर के निर्यात लक्ष्य को प्राप्त करने के लिए राज्यों और केंद्रशासित प्रदेशों की तैयारी का आकलन करता है। यह सूचकांक 4 स्तंभों, 13 उप-स्तंभों और 70 संकेतकों पर आधारित है। इसका पहला संस्करण 2020 में जारी किया गया था।

The 10th Defence Forces Veterans’ Day was observed on January 14, 2026 to honour the service and sacrifice of Indian Armed Forces veterans. Events were organised across 34 Rajya Sainik Boards and 434 Zila Sainik Boards. The day marks the retirement of Field Marshal KM Cariappa in 1953.

INSV Kaundinya reached Muscat after its maiden voyage from Porbandar, celebrating 5,000 years of India–Oman maritime heritage and 70 years of diplomatic relations. The vessel is traditionally stitched and inspired by Ajanta paintings. An MoU on maritime heritage and museums was also signed.

Tripura Gramin Bank became India’s first Gramin Bank to launch a solar-powered ATM van, promoting green and inclusive banking. The initiative won the SKOCH Silver Award. The bank operates three solar ATM vans and has 150 branches.
