Pay and Age
Posts range from Pay Level 3 to Level 8. Reported upper ages are 27 years for Junior Technician, 30 for Junior Library Assistant, 35 for Junior Superintendent/Junior Engineer/Junior Translation Officer and 40 for Assistant Engineer, reckoned as prescribed in the notification. Statutory relaxations apply.
Qualification
Eligibility is strictly post-wise. It includes relevant bachelor's degrees, diplomas, engineering qualifications, library qualifications, translation qualifications and prescribed experience depending on the post code. Applicants must match the exact discipline and experience in Advertisement 03/2026-27.
Fee
The notified fee is reported as ₹500 for Group B and ₹250 for Group C. SC/ST/PwBD and female applicants are exempt under the notification.
Application Procedure
Application is submitted online through the Institute's recruitment/SAMARTH system. The submitted application printout with prescribed supporting documents must also be sent to the Registrar, IIT (BHU), Varanasi within the period specified in the advertisement.
