1. IIT मद्रास की ePlane Company बनाएगी भारत की पहली eVTOL एयर एम्बुलेंस
IIT मद्रास में इनक्यूबेट की गई The ePlane Company वर्ष 2028 तक eVTOL (Electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing) एयर एम्बुलेंस का व्यावसायिक उत्पादन शुरू करेगी। कंपनी वर्ष 2027 के अंत तक प्रमाणन (Certification) पूरा करने की योजना बना रही है, जबकि 2026 में उड़ान परीक्षण शुरू होंगे। कंपनी को ICATT से 1 बिलियन अमेरिकी डॉलर का ऑर्डर भी प्राप्त हुआ है। यह पहल भारत में स्वदेशी विमान निर्माण, आधुनिक विमानन तकनीक और आपातकालीन चिकित्सा सेवाओं को नई दिशा देगी।
2. राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू ने 65 पद्म पुरस्कार प्रदान किए
राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू ने 23 जून 2026 को राष्ट्रपति भवन, नई दिल्ली में आयोजित दूसरे Civil Investiture Ceremony में 65 पद्म पुरस्कार प्रदान किए। इनमें 2 पद्म विभूषण, 7 पद्म भूषण तथा 56 पद्म श्री पुरस्कार शामिल थे। वर्ष 2026 के लिए कुल 131 पद्म पुरस्कारों की घोषणा की गई थी। वर्ष 1954 में प्रारंभ किए गए पद्म पुरस्कार भारत के सर्वोच्च नागरिक सम्मानों में शामिल हैं।
3. महेश दीक्षित बने नए इंटेलिजेंस ब्यूरो (IB) निदेशक
महेश दीक्षित, जो 1993 बैच के आंध्र प्रदेश कैडर के IPS अधिकारी हैं, को इंटेलिजेंस ब्यूरो (IB) का नया निदेशक नियुक्त किया गया है। वे तपन कुमार डेका का स्थान लेंगे और 30 जून 2026 से दो वर्ष के कार्यकाल के लिए पदभार संभालेंगे। इससे पहले वे IB में Special Director के रूप में कार्यरत थे और पूर्वोत्तर भारत, जम्मू-कश्मीर, लद्दाख तथा नक्सल प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में महत्वपूर्ण खुफिया अभियानों का नेतृत्व कर चुके हैं।
4. हर्ष वर्धन को ब्रिटेन की संसद में Global Prestige Award से सम्मानित किया गया
बिहार क्रिकेट एसोसिएशन (BCA) के अध्यक्ष हर्ष वर्धन को 20 जून 2026 को ब्रिटेन की संसद (House of Lords) में Global Prestige Award से सम्मानित किया गया। यह सम्मान Viksit Bharat 2047 के दृष्टिकोण के अनुरूप शांति, न्याय और विकास में उनके योगदान के लिए प्रदान किया गया। वे वर्ष 2025 में बिहार क्रिकेट एसोसिएशन के सबसे युवा अध्यक्ष भी बने थे।
5. वाशिंगटन डी.सी. में आयोजित हुआ दूसरा Pax Silica Summit
25–26 जून 2026 को वाशिंगटन डी.सी. (अमेरिका) में दूसरा Pax Silica Summit आयोजित किया गया, जिसमें भारत सहित 35 देशों ने भाग लिया। सम्मेलन में Joint Statement on AI Opportunity को अपनाया गया। इसमें विश्वसनीय AI शासन, मजबूत सप्लाई चेन, नवाचार को बढ़ावा तथा वैश्विक सहयोग पर जोर दिया गया। साथ ही Pax Pass Platform और Stanford Foundry School जैसी नई पहलें भी शुरू की गईं।
6. भारत और इज़राइल के CAG के बीच सार्वजनिक लेखा परीक्षा पर समझौता
भारत के नियंत्रक एवं महालेखा परीक्षक (CAG) और इज़राइल की Supreme Audit Institution (SAI) ने 24 जून 2026 को एक MoU पर हस्ताक्षर किए। इस समझौते का उद्देश्य सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र की लेखा परीक्षा में तकनीकी सहयोग, प्रशिक्षण, AI एवं डेटा एनालिटिक्स के उपयोग तथा सर्वोत्तम प्रथाओं का आदान-प्रदान करना है। यह समझौता दोनों देशों के बीच संस्थागत सहयोग को और मजबूत करेगा।
7. 26 जून को मनाया गया संयुक्त राष्ट्र यातना पीड़ितों के समर्थन का अंतरराष्ट्रीय दिवस
संयुक्त राष्ट्र द्वारा 26 जून को प्रत्येक वर्ष International Day in Support of Victims of Torture मनाया जाता है। यह दिवस वर्ष 1997 में पारित UN Resolution 52/149 के तहत घोषित किया गया था। इसका उद्देश्य यातना के पीड़ितों को न्याय, पुनर्वास, मानवाधिकार संरक्षण तथा वैश्विक स्तर पर यातना उन्मूलन के प्रति जागरूकता बढ़ाना है।
8. लद्दाख में मनाया गया प्रसिद्ध हेमिस महोत्सव
हेमिस महोत्सव प्रत्येक वर्ष लद्दाख के हेमिस मठ (Hemis Monastery) में मनाया जाता है। यह पर्व गुरु पद्मसंभव (गुरु रिनपोछे) की जयंती के अवसर पर आयोजित होता है। दो दिवसीय इस उत्सव में प्रसिद्ध Cham Mask Dance, बौद्ध धार्मिक अनुष्ठान, पारंपरिक संगीत तथा सांस्कृतिक प्रस्तुतियाँ आकर्षण का केंद्र होती हैं। यह भारत के सबसे बड़े बौद्ध उत्सवों में से एक है।
9. केरल में मिली Tiger Moth की नई प्रजाति 'Antaram idukki'
भारतीय प्राणी सर्वेक्षण (ZSI) और Natural History Museum, London के वैज्ञानिकों ने केरल के इडुक्की जिले में Tiger Moth की नई प्रजाति Antaram idukki की खोज की। यह प्रजाति Western Ghats की जैव विविधता का महत्वपूर्ण हिस्सा है और परागण के साथ-साथ कई जीवों के भोजन का स्रोत भी है। इसकी खोज पश्चिमी घाट की समृद्ध जैव विविधता को दर्शाती है।
10. 26 जून को मनाया गया नशा एवं अवैध मादक पदार्थ तस्करी विरोधी अंतरराष्ट्रीय दिवस
International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking प्रत्येक वर्ष 26 जून को मनाया जाता है। इसकी शुरुआत 1987 में संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा के Resolution 42/112 के तहत हुई थी और पहला आयोजन 1988 में किया गया। इस दिवस का उद्देश्य नशीले पदार्थों के दुष्प्रभावों के प्रति जागरूकता बढ़ाना, नशा मुक्ति, पुनर्वास तथा अवैध मादक पदार्थों की तस्करी के विरुद्ध वैश्विक सहयोग को मजबूत करना है।

1. The ePlane Company to Launch India's First eVTOL Air Ambulances
The ePlane Company, an electric aircraft startup incubated at IIT Madras, plans to begin commercial production of electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing (eVTOL) air ambulances by 2028. The company aims to complete aircraft certification by the end of 2027, while full-scale flight testing is scheduled for 2026. It has also secured a US$1 billion order from ICATT to deploy air ambulances across India. 2. President Droupadi Murmu Confers 65 Padma Awards

Mahesh Dixit, a 1993-batch IPS officer of the Andhra Pradesh cadre, has been appointed as the new Director of the Intelligence Bureau (IB). He will succeed Tapan Kumar Deka and assume office on June 30, 2026, for a two-year tenure. Previously serving as the Special Director of IB, he has extensive experience in intelligence operations across Northeast India, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, and anti-Naxal regions.
4. Harsh Vardhan Receives Global Prestige Award
Harsh Vardhan, President of the Bihar Cricket Association (BCA), received the Global Prestige Award at the House of Lords, UK Parliament, on June 20, 2026.
