1. Rajolibanda Diversion Scheme is an Interstate Irrigation Project
The Rajolibanda Diversion Scheme (RDS) is an interstate irrigation project constructed across the Tungabhadra River, a major tributary of the Krishna River. The project was developed to provide irrigation water to drought-prone agricultural regions of Telangana, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh, thereby improving agricultural productivity and supporting rural livelihoods. It also promotes equitable sharing of river water among the participating states. 2. Skydo Becomes First Indian Cross-Border Fintech Licensed in Canada

3. Indian Air Force Equips 40 Su-30MKI Fighters with BrahMos Missiles
The Indian Air Force (IAF) has equipped 40 Sukhoi Su-30MKI fighter aircraft with the air-launched BrahMos supersonic cruise missile, significantly enhancing India's long-range precision strike capability. The integration enables the aircraft to carry out stand-off attacks against strategic land and maritime targets while remaining outside enemy air defence range. Jointly developed by India and Russia, the BrahMos missile has a strike range of approximately 450 km and can travel at speeds of up to Mach 3, strengthening India's indigenous defence capabilities.
4. Telangana Police Deploys India's First Sovereign AI Platform
The Telangana Police deployed C-SIGHT, India's first sovereign Artificial Intelligence platform, to strengthen digital investigations, particularly in cases involving child sexual abuse. Developed by the Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB) in collaboration with Vatins Systems, the platform operates entirely within the police network, ensuring sensitive investigation data remains secure and offline. C-SIGHT automates digital evidence analysis, significantly reduces investigation time, and enhances the identification of child sexual exploitation material with high accuracy.
5. Mumbai Port Announces ₹5,028 Crore Projects on 154th Foundation Day
Mumbai Port celebrated its 154th Foundation Day by announcing 63 infrastructure projects worth ₹5,028.17 crore to modernise port facilities and strengthen India's maritime infrastructure. 6. Andhra Pradesh Approves Policy on Reuse of Treated Used Water, 2026
The Andhra Pradesh Government approved the Policy on Reuse of Treated Used Water, 2026, with the objective of strengthening water security, promoting climate resilience, and supporting sustainable urban development. Aligned with the Swarna Andhra Vision 2047, the policy aims to meet at least 20% of urban water demand through the reuse of treated wastewater. It also mandates the use of treated water in thermal power plants, construction activities, urban services, and industrial applications. राजोलीबांडा डायवर्जन स्कीम (RDS) तुंगभद्रा नदी पर निर्मित एक अंतरराज्यीय सिंचाई परियोजना है, जो कृष्णा नदी की प्रमुख सहायक नदी है। इस परियोजना का उद्देश्य तेलंगाना, कर्नाटक और आंध्र प्रदेश के सूखा-प्रभावित कृषि क्षेत्रों को सिंचाई का पानी उपलब्ध कराना, कृषि उत्पादकता बढ़ाना और ग्रामीण आजीविका को सुदृढ़ करना है। यह योजना राज्यों के बीच नदी जल के न्यायसंगत वितरण को भी बढ़ावा देती है तथा कृष्णा नदी बेसिन में जल संसाधन प्रबंधन का महत्वपूर्ण हिस्सा है।

6. आंध्र प्रदेश ने Reuse of Treated Used Water Policy, 2026 को मंजूरी दी
आंध्र प्रदेश सरकार ने Policy on Reuse of Treated Used Water, 2026 को मंजूरी दी है। यह नीति Swarna Andhra Vision 2047 के अनुरूप जल सुरक्षा बढ़ाने, जलवायु परिवर्तन के प्रभावों से निपटने तथा सतत शहरी विकास को बढ़ावा देने के उद्देश्य से तैयार की गई है। इसके तहत वर्ष 2047 तक शहरी जल मांग का कम से कम 20% उपचारित अपशिष्ट जल (Treated Wastewater) से पूरा करने का लक्ष्य रखा गया है। यह नीति उद्योगों, थर्मल पावर प्लांट, निर्माण कार्य और शहरी सेवाओं में उपचारित जल के उपयोग को भी प्रोत्साहित करती है।
