Who is the first woman to have been awarded the Yudh Seva Medal?
Correct Answer
C. Minty AgarwalC.
Explanation
The correct answer is Minty Agarwal.
According to the source, in 2019 Minty Agarwal became the first woman to be given the Yudh Seva Medal.
The book further states that the Yudh Seva Medal is the wartime equivalent of the Vishisht Seva Medal, which it describes as a peacetime distinguished-service decoration.
Therefore the source-supported revision chain is: Minty Agarwal — 2019 — First Woman recipient of Yudh Seva Medal — Yudh Seva Medal = wartime equivalent of Vishisht Seva Medal according to source — Vishisht Seva Medal described as a peacetime distinguished-service decoration.
Bhawana Kanth, Shaliza Dhami and Aparna Kumar are distractors in this question.
The source does not describe Minty Agarwal's service branch, operational role or the circumstances for which the medal was awarded.
Therefore those details have not been added.
Quick revision: First woman awarded Yudh Seva Medal = Minty Agarwal, 2019.
Therefore option (c) is correct.
इसलिए complete source-supported revision chain है: Minty Agarwal — 2019 — First Woman Yudh Seva Medal Recipient — Yudh Seva Medal = Wartime Equivalent of Vishisht Seva Medal according to source — Vishisht Seva Medal = Peacetime Distinguished-Service Decoration। Quick revision: First Woman Yudh Seva Medal = Minty Agarwal, 2019।
