Correct Answerसही उत्तर
D. James Ramsay MacDonaldD. जेम्स रामसे मैकडोनाल्ड
Explanationव्याख्या
The correct answer is James Ramsay MacDonald.
According to the source, the Communal Award was made by British Prime Minister Ramsay MacDonald on 16 August 1932.
The book states that it extended a separate electorate and was also known as the MacDonald Award.
It further says that the Communal Award was announced after the Round Table Conference and extended the separate electorate to the depressed Classes and other minorities.
Therefore the complete source-supported revision chain is: Communal Award — Ramsay MacDonald — British Prime Minister — 16 August 1932 — also called MacDonald Award — announced after Round Table Conference — extension of Separate Electorate — Depressed Classes and other minorities according to source.
Herbert Henry Asquith, Andrew Bonar Law and David Lloyd George are distractors.
This item appears under the source's Awards section even though it concerns a political
constitutional 'Award'; its source organisation has been preserved.
Therefore option (d), James Ramsay MacDonald, is correct.
