Therefore the complete source-supported revision chain is: Sultan Azlan Shah Cup — Malaysia — annual tournament — invitational — international — men's field hockey.
India, South Korea and Germany are distractors.
The source explanation is concise and does not provide the tournament's founding year, exact host city, participating teams, trophy history or past winners.
Therefore those details have not been added from outside knowledge.
Although this question appears within the source's Awards sequence, it concerns a sports tournament
cup rather than a conventional award.
Its position in the book has been preserved by retaining the current topic label for continuity.
For examination revision, the direct association is sufficient: Sultan Azlan Shah Cup → Malaysia → men's field hockey.
Quick revision: Sultan Azlan Shah Cup = Annual Invitational International Men's Field Hockey Tournament = Malaysia according to source.
Therefore option (a) is correct.
