Candidates must fulfill one of the following qualifications:

• Degree Route: B.Sc Nursing (4-year) or Post Basic B.Sc Nursing from an INC/State Nursing Council recognised institute, with Nurse & Midwife registration.
• Diploma Route: General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) from an INC-recognised board/council, Nurse & Midwife registration, plus at least two years of experience in a minimum 50-bedded hospital after completing the diploma.

In Hindi: B.Sc Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc Nursing या GNM के साथ आवश्यक नर्सिंग पंजीकरण; GNM उम्मीदवारों के लिए निर्धारित अस्पताल अनुभव भी आवश्यक है।
