IBPS RRB XV 2026: Revised Vacancies, Corrigendum and Last Date Update
Update dated 21 September 2026: IBPS has published an updated vacancy statement and a corrigendum dated 15 September 2026 for the Common Recruitment Process for Regional Rural Banks, CRP-RRBs-XV. These are updates to an existing recruitment, not a separate fresh notification. Both documents appear on the official IBPS Regional Rural Banks XV page, alongside an earlier corrigendum and vacancy update dated 9 September. Candidates should rely on the latest applicable vacancy statement rather than an older total circulated when applications first opened.
Who is covered?
The common recruitment covers Group B Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and Group A Officer Scale I, Scale II and Scale III positions in participating Regional Rural Banks. Officer Scale II includes different general and specialist categories according to the detailed advertisement. Bank-wise, state-wise, post-wise and reservation-wise positions can change when participating banks report revisions. A single national vacancy number does not establish how many seats exist in a candidate's preferred bank, state or category.

- Application submission, editing and fee payment close: 21 September 2026.
- Last date to print an Office Assistant application: 5 October 2026.

The application-printing dates are not extensions of the registration deadline. A candidate who has not completed registration and the required payment by 21 September should not assume that printing access allows a new application.
Why the corrigendum matters
A corrigendum may amend instructions or conditions in the original recruitment documents. An updated vacancy statement may revise bank-wise or category-wise counts. Before final submission, candidates should read the original notification together with the 9 September and 15 September updates, check whether the changes affect their selected post and verify that their choices are consistent with the current rules. Do not quote an old aggregate vacancy figure as the final vacancy count without comparing the updated official statement.
Eligibility and application choice
Office Assistant, Officer Scale I and Officer Scale II/III have different age, qualification, experience and local-language requirements. The applicable age cut-off and relaxation rules are stated in the original notification and subsequent corrigenda. IBPS expressly says an applicant may apply for only one Officer-cadre post—Scale I, Scale II or Scale III. An applicant may separately assess Office Assistant eligibility under the notification. Candidates should review the appropriate stream rather than treating all RRB posts as interchangeable.
Selection and preparation
Office Assistant recruitment generally involves Preliminary and Main examinations followed by provisional allotment according to the governing CRP notification. Officer Scale I involves Preliminary, Main and Interview stages; Officer Scale II/III use the examination and interview structure prescribed for the relevant scale. The exact paper pattern, language options, negative marking and cut-offs should be checked in the original notification and official information handouts. Local-language eligibility can also matter for particular participating banks and states.

21 सितंबर 2026 तक की जानकारी: बैंकिंग कार्मिक चयन संस्थान (IBPS) ने क्षेत्रीय ग्रामीण बैंकों की संयुक्त भर्ती CRP-RRBs-XV के लिए 15 सितंबर 2026 को संशोधन-पत्र तथा संशोधित रिक्ति-विवरण प्रकाशित किया है। यह नई भर्ती नहीं, बल्कि पहले से चल रही भर्ती का महत्वपूर्ण अद्यतन है। आधिकारिक पृष्ठ पर 9 सितंबर के पूर्ववर्ती संशोधन और रिक्ति-विवरण भी उपलब्ध हैं। इसलिए अभ्यर्थी आवेदन के आरंभ में प्रकाशित किसी पुरानी कुल संख्या को अंतिम न मानें।
किन पदों पर यह अद्यतन लागू है?
भर्ती में कार्यालय सहायक (बहुउद्देशीय) तथा अधिकारी स्केल-I, स्केल-II और स्केल-III शामिल हैं। भाग लेने वाले बैंकों द्वारा रिक्तियों में परिवर्तन बताने पर बैंक, राज्य, पद और आरक्षण श्रेणी के अनुसार संख्या बदल सकती है। पूरे देश की कुल रिक्तियों से किसी विशेष राज्य अथवा श्रेणी में उपलब्ध पदों का अनुमान नहीं लगाना चाहिए।

संशोधन-पत्र क्यों पढ़ें?

चयन और तैयारी
