What Happened
The Indian Air Force launched its first Dronathon 2026 at the Pokhran Field Firing Range in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The three-day event from September 14 to 16 brings together more than 20 defence companies, start-ups, MSMEs, defence public sector undertakings and innovators. The initiative focuses on strengthening India's indigenous unmanned aerial capabilities and creating closer engagement between the Air Force and domestic industry.
