Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Chennai has invited online applications for engagement of Act Apprentices under Notification No. APP/01/2026-2027. A total of 1,010 apprenticeship slots are available. / इंटीग्रल कोच फैक्ट्री, चेन्नई ने Act Apprentice के 1,010 प्रशिक्षण पदों के लिए ऑनलाइन आवेदन आमंत्रित किए हैं।

Age Limit / आयु सीमा
Age is calculated on 07 September 2026. ITI candidates must be 15–24 years and non-ITI candidates 15–22 years. Upper-age relaxation is 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for PwBD as stated in the official notice. / ITI उम्मीदवारों के लिए 15–24 वर्ष तथा Non-ITI के लिए 15–22 वर्ष।
Educational Qualification / शैक्षणिक योग्यता
For most Ex-ITI trades, candidates need Class 10 with at least 50% marks and the relevant National/State Trade Certificate. Fresher Fitter/Electrician/Machinist candidates require Class 10 with 50% and Science & Maths. MLT freshers require Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology. / ट्रेड के अनुसार 10वीं/12वीं तथा संबंधित ITI/Trade Certificate आवश्यक है।
Application Fee / आवेदन शुल्क
Processing fee is ₹100 plus applicable service charges. SC/ST/PwBD and women candidates are exempt. / ₹100 प्रोसेसिंग शुल्क; SC/ST/PwBD एवं महिला उम्मीदवारों के लिए शुल्क नहीं।
Selection / चयन
Merit is prepared primarily from Class 10 marks, followed by document verification and prescribed medical fitness. This is apprenticeship training and does not guarantee Railway employment after training. / चयन 10वीं के अंकों की मेरिट, दस्तावेज सत्यापन और मेडिकल फिटनेस के आधार पर होगा। अप्रेंटिसशिप पूरी होने पर नौकरी की गारंटी नहीं है।
