UPSC Recruitment 2026 – Advertisement 12/2026 for 13 Central Government Posts
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited Online Recruitment Applications under Advertisement No. 12/2026 for direct recruitment by selection to 13 vacancies in different Government of India/GNCTD organisations. The Government of India also announced the recruitment through PIB on 26 September 2026. Applications are open from 26 September to 16 October 2026, up to 6:00 PM.
Post-wise Vacancies
- Junior Technical Officer (Sugar Technology), National Sugar Institute – 1
- Assistant Legislative Counsel, Grade IV of Indian Legal Service, Ministry of Law & Justice – 8
- Law Officer, Land & Building Department, GNCTD – 3
- Specialist Grade II (Junior Scale), Cardiology, NDMC – 1
Total: 13. These are four different professional recruitments, not one common eligibility pool.
Qualifications and Pay
Eligibility is post-specific. JTO requires the prescribed science/engineering and sugar-technology qualification. Assistant Legislative Counsel requires the notified legal qualification and professional experience. Law Officer requires a recognised law degree with prescribed legal experience. Specialist Cardiology requires the recognised medical and super-speciality qualification plus relevant experience. Candidates must read the exact essential-qualification wording in the official advertisement.

Fee and Selection
The notified fee is ₹25 for candidates to whom it applies; women, SC, ST and PwBD candidates are exempt. This is recruitment by selection. UPSC may shortlist candidates and may conduct a Recruitment Test where required, followed by interview according to the notified procedure. Submission of an application does not by itself guarantee an interview call.

कुल: 13 पद। चारों पदों की पात्रता अलग है; एक सामान्य डिग्री सभी पदों के लिए पर्याप्त नहीं है।
योग्यता और वेतन
JTO के लिए निर्धारित विज्ञान/अभियांत्रिकी और शुगर टेक्नोलॉजी योग्यता, असिस्टेंट लेजिस्लेटिव काउंसल के लिए निर्धारित विधिक योग्यता एवं अनुभव, लॉ ऑफिसर के लिए मान्यता प्राप्त विधि डिग्री एवं निर्धारित कानूनी अनुभव तथा कार्डियोलॉजी विशेषज्ञ के लिए मान्यता प्राप्त चिकित्सा, उच्च विशेषज्ञता योग्यता और संबंधित अनुभव आवश्यक है। अंतिम पात्रता के लिए विज्ञापन की मूल भाषा पढ़ें।

शुल्क और चयन
जिन अभ्यर्थियों पर शुल्क लागू है उनके लिए ₹25 शुल्क है; महिला, SC, ST और PwBD अभ्यर्थियों को छूट है। UPSC योग्यता/अनुभव के आधार पर शॉर्टलिस्टिंग कर सकता है और आवश्यकता होने पर भर्ती परीक्षा के बाद साक्षात्कार आयोजित कर सकता है। केवल आवेदन करना साक्षात्कार बुलावे की गारंटी नहीं है।
