Navakalevara is a ritual that takes place in a temple in _____.
Correct Answer
D. Jagannath PuriD.
Explanation
The correct answer is Jagannath Puri.
The source explanation uses the spelling 'Nabakalebara' and describes the 2015 Nabakalebara as a celebration of an ancient ritual associated with Jagannath temples.
It states that the idols of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra, Subhadra and Sudarshan are replaced by a new set of idols.
The book further says that the period of the festival is selected according to the Hindu calendar in conformity with astrological planetary positions.
It also states that more than 5 million devotees were expected to participate in rituals held in and around the Jagannath Temple complex at Puri, Odisha.
Therefore the source-supported revision chain is: Navakalevara
Nabakalebara — Jagannath Puri — Ancient Ritual — replacement of idols of Jagannath, Balabhadra, Subhadra and Sudarshan — timing according to Hindu Calendar and astrological planetary positions — Puri, Odisha.
The variation between 'Navakalevara' in the question and 'Nabakalebara' in the explanation has been preserved as a source spelling variation rather than silently unified.
Therefore option (d), Jagannath Puri, is correct.
इसलिए complete source-supported revision chain है: Navakalevara/Nabakalebara — Jagannath Puri — Ancient Ritual — Jagannath, Balabhadra, Subhadra, Sudarshan की Idols Replacement — Hindu Calendar — Astrological Planetary Positions — Puri, Odisha।
