At the time of marriage, the total age of the husband and wife was 28 × 2 = 56 years.
Let they got married x years ago.
Their present total age is 56 + 2x.
Their daughter was born 2 years after marriage, so her present age is x − 2.
The present total age of all three members is 24 × 3 = 72.
Therefore, 56 + 2x + x − 2 = 72 ⇒ 54 + 3x = 72 ⇒ 3x = 18 ⇒ x = 6.
Hence, they got married 6 years ago.

शादी के समय पति और पत्नी की कुल आयु 28 × 2 = 56 वर्ष थी।
मान लेते हैं कि उनकी शादी x वर्ष पहले हुई थी।
