In which city of India would you find the Swami Vivekananda Airport?
Correct Answer
B. RaipurB.
Explanation
The correct answer is Raipur.
According to the source, Swami Vivekananda Airport is the airport serving Raipur in Chhattisgarh and is situated around 15 kilometres south of Raipur.
The source notes that the airport was earlier known as Mana Airport and was among the non-metro airports modernised by the Airports Authority of India.
This makes the question useful for both States GK and transport-related static GK.
In competitive examinations, airports are frequently matched with cities, states or personalities after whom they are named.
For this reason, students should remember the complete association rather than only the city: Swami Vivekananda Airport — Raipur — Chhattisgarh.
Raipur is the capital of Chhattisgarh, so the association becomes easier to retain.
The alternative name Mana Airport is another useful point because older books or questions may refer to it by that name.
The Airports Authority of India, commonly abbreviated as AAI, is also mentioned in the source in connection with the modernisation of the airport.
Options such as Ranchi and Durgapur may confuse students because they also have important airports, but Swami Vivekananda Airport is specifically connected with Raipur.
An examination can reverse the wording and ask: 'Which airport serves Raipur?' or 'Swami Vivekananda Airport is located in which state?' In both cases the same association is required.
Therefore remember: Swami Vivekananda Airport — Raipur, Chhattisgarh — earlier known as Mana Airport.
