Which of the following is the second largest artificial lake in Asia?
Correct Answer
D. Dhebar Lake in RajasthanD.
Explanation
The correct answer according to the source is Dhebar Lake in Rajasthan.
The book states that Miyun Reservoir is the largest artificial lake in Asia and that Jaisamand Lake, also known as Dhebar Lake, is the second largest artificial lake in Asia.
Therefore the source-supported revision chain is: Miyun Reservoir — largest artificial lake in Asia; Jaisamand Lake
Dhebar Lake — Rajasthan — second largest artificial lake in Asia.
The question gives Chilika Lake in Odisha, Chandubi Lake in Assam and Kolleru Lake in Andhra Pradesh as distractors.
The important additional fact from the explanation is the alternate name: Jaisamand Lake = Dhebar Lake.
This is especially useful because an examination may use either name.
Students should also retain the ranking only as the source states it.
Because size rankings and classifications of artificial lakes can depend on criteria and data sources, the claim should not be silently updated or expanded beyond the book.
The source does not provide the surface area, capacity, construction year, river, dam or location of Miyun Reservoir in this entry.
Similarly, it does not provide further details of Jaisamand
Dhebar Lake beyond its ranking and alternate name.
Those facts have therefore not been added.
Quick revision: Asia's largest artificial lake according to source — Miyun Reservoir; second largest — Jaisamand
Dhebar Lake, Rajasthan.
Therefore option (d), Dhebar Lake in Rajasthan, is correct.
इसलिए complete source-supported revision chain है: Miyun Reservoir — Largest Artificial Lake in Asia; Jaisamand Lake/Dhebar Lake — Rajasthan — Second Largest Artificial Lake in Asia। Chilika Lake in Odisha, Chandubi Lake in Assam और Kolleru Lake in Andhra Pradesh distractors हैं। Book Miyun Reservoir का surface area, capacity, construction year, river या exact location इस entry में नहीं देती। Quick revision: Source के अनुसार Asia's Largest Artificial Lake — Miyun Reservoir; Second Largest — Jaisamand/Dhebar Lake, Rajasthan।
