History and Its Three Divisions (Indian History)

इतिहास केवल अतीत का अध्ययन ही नहीं है, बल्कि यह हमें अतीत की संस्कृतियों से परिचित भी कराता है।
इस संदर्भ में, भारतीय इतिहास को समझने के लिए इसे तीन भागों में विभाजित किया जाता है—

(i) प्राचीन भारतीय इतिहास
(ii) मध्यकालीन भारतीय इतिहास
(iii) आधुनिक भारत का इतिहास

इन तीनों भागों का अध्ययन अलग-अलग किया जाता है।

English:

History is not only the study of past times but also helps us to get acquainted with the cultures of the past.
In this context, we divide Indian history into three parts to understand it—

(i) Ancient Indian History
(ii) Medieval Indian History
(iii) History of Modern India

These three sections have been studied separately.
