What has changed?
The Odisha Staff Selection Commission posted a fresh notice dated 23 September 2026 extending the opportunity to exercise option or preference for different posts and services for candidates shortlisted for certificate verification in the Combined Graduate Level Recruitment Examination (CGLRE)-2025, Advertisement No. 5751/OSSC dated 12 December 2025. The announcement concerns candidates who have not yet exercised their preference. It is not a fresh recruitment advertisement and it does not reopen applications to people who did not qualify for the relevant stage.
Who should act?
A candidate shortlisted for certificate verification should check whether the preference was already submitted, whether the portal shows the correct choices, and whether the downloadable preference report is available. The commission’s website also displays a prominent reminder to candidates who have not downloaded their Post Preference Report to log in and download the printout. Candidates who completed their choices should still retain the acknowledgement or report for later verification.
How to use the official portal
Open the OSSC official website, locate the 23 September 2026 notice for CGLRE-2025 and read its PDF before using the accompanying preference link. Sign in using the credentials requested by the official system. Review the post/service choices, the order of preference and the final confirmation screen. Submit only after checking the order, because a candidate’s first preference and later preferences are not interchangeable. Save the submitted report as a PDF and print a copy. The precise extended closing time must be taken from the actual notice or portal; this article does not assume an unverified deadline.
Certificate verification preparation
Keep the admission or intimation letter for Phase-I certificate verification, the submitted preference report, identity proof, education records, category or reservation documents where applicable, and other certificates specified by the commission. Match spelling, date of birth, qualification and category with the application. If a certificate has a discrepancy, follow the commission’s stated correction or clarification procedure rather than altering any record independently.
What preference does and does not mean
A post preference is a candidate’s expressed order of choices. It is not a selection letter, guarantee of a particular post or confirmation of appointment. Final allocation depends on the applicable recruitment rules, merit, vacancy position, eligibility and successful verification. Do not treat an unofficial screenshot or social-media deadline as an authoritative extension.

Candidates should consult the most recent notice and preserve copies of any documents generated by the portal. ओडिशा कर्मचारी चयन आयोग ने 23 सितंबर 2026 को संयुक्त स्नातक स्तरीय भर्ती परीक्षा (CGLRE)-2025, विज्ञापन संख्या 5751/OSSC दिनांक 12 दिसंबर 2025 के संबंध में पदों और सेवाओं की वरीयता दर्ज करने की अवधि बढ़ाने की सूचना प्रकाशित की है। यह अवसर उन अभ्यर्थियों के लिए है जिन्हें प्रमाणपत्र सत्यापन हेतु सूचीबद्ध किया गया है, लेकिन जिन्होंने अभी तक अपनी वरीयता दर्ज नहीं की है। यह नई भर्ती की घोषणा नहीं है और इससे अन्य अभ्यर्थियों के लिए आवेदन प्रक्रिया दोबारा शुरू नहीं होती।
किन अभ्यर्थियों को ध्यान देना चाहिए?
प्रमाणपत्र सत्यापन के लिए चयनित अभ्यर्थी जाँचें कि उन्होंने वरीयता जमा की है या नहीं, दर्ज विकल्प सही हैं या नहीं और वरीयता प्रतिवेदन डाउनलोड हो रहा है या नहीं। आयोग की वेबसाइट पर उन अभ्यर्थियों के लिए भी संदेश है जिन्होंने अपना पद वरीयता प्रतिवेदन अभी तक डाउनलोड नहीं किया है। वरीयता जमा कर चुके अभ्यर्थियों को भी उसका प्रमाण और मुद्रित प्रति सुरक्षित रखनी चाहिए।
आधिकारिक वेबसाइट पर प्रक्रिया
आयोग की वेबसाइट खोलकर 23 सितंबर की संबंधित सूचना और संलग्न दस्तावेज पढ़ें। उसके बाद दिए गए वरीयता लिंक से प्रवेश करें। पदों और सेवाओं का क्रम ध्यान से देखें, क्योंकि पहली और बाद की वरीयताओं का महत्व अलग हो सकता है। अंतिम पुष्टि से पहले सभी विकल्प जाँचें। जमा करने के बाद प्रतिवेदन डाउनलोड करके सुरक्षित रखें। बढ़ाई गई अवधि की सटीक अंतिम तिथि और समय केवल आधिकारिक सूचना या पोर्टल से ही लें; बिना पुष्टि के किसी समय को अंतिम न मानें।
प्रमाणपत्र सत्यापन की तैयारी
प्रथम चरण के प्रमाणपत्र सत्यापन का प्रवेश अथवा सूचना पत्र, जमा किया गया वरीयता प्रतिवेदन, पहचान पत्र, शैक्षिक प्रमाणपत्र, लागू होने पर आरक्षण संबंधी दस्तावेज तथा आयोग द्वारा माँगे गए अन्य प्रमाणपत्र तैयार रखें। आवेदन और प्रमाणपत्रों में नाम, जन्मतिथि, योग्यता तथा श्रेणी का मिलान करें। किसी अंतर की स्थिति में आयोग द्वारा निर्धारित प्रक्रिया के अनुसार ही स्पष्टीकरण या सुधार करें।
वरीयता का वास्तविक अर्थ
पद वरीयता केवल अभ्यर्थी की पसंद का क्रम बताती है। इससे किसी पद पर नियुक्ति की गारंटी नहीं मिलती। पद आवंटन संबंधित नियमों, मेरिट, रिक्तियों, पात्रता और सफल दस्तावेज सत्यापन पर निर्भर करेगा। सामाजिक माध्यमों पर प्रसारित अपुष्ट अंतिम तिथि के स्थान पर आयोग की नवीनतम सूचना को प्राथमिकता दें।
