SSC Stenographer Grade C & D Answer Key 2026: Response Sheet and Objections
Latest update, 24 September 2026: Staff Selection Commission has uploaded the tentative answer keys and candidate response sheets for the Stenographer Grade C and Grade D Examination 2026. The notice is dated 23 September 2026. This is the provisional-key stage, not the final result or a confirmation of qualification for the stenography skill test.
Important dates and what candidates should do
- Computer-based examination: 9–12 and 15 September 2026, according to current reporting.
- Tentative key and response sheets: 23 September 2026.
- Online challenge deadline: 26 September 2026, 11:00 PM.
- Challenge fee: ₹50 per question/answer challenged, subject to the instructions displayed by SSC.
- Final answer key, result and skill-test schedule: follow future SSC notices; do not treat an unofficial predicted date as confirmed.
Difference between answer key, response sheet and result
The tentative answer key shows the answers initially accepted by SSC. The response sheet records the options selected by the individual candidate. Comparing the two can help estimate performance. However, SSC may revise answers after considering valid objections. The Commission's final key and result, not a self-calculated score or a coaching-site cut-off, govern the next stage.
How to download the response sheet
- Visit the official SSC portal and open the Stenographer Grade C & D Examination 2026 tentative answer-key notice.
- Read the notice and follow the candidate-login link provided there.
- Sign in with the registration number and password or other credentials requested by the portal.
- Download the question paper, tentative answer key and individual response sheet.
- Check the examination shift and question identifiers before comparing answers.
- Save or print the documents during the availability window; access may end after the deadline.
How to challenge an answer
Use only the official SSC challenge module. Identify the exact question and answer that you dispute, provide a clear explanation and relevant authoritative reference, and pay the prescribed fee for each challenged question. Save the acknowledgement and payment record. Objections sent by ordinary email or through unrelated websites should not be assumed to count. Candidates should not share their passwords or response sheets containing personal information with unknown third parties.
How to estimate marks responsibly
Compare the response sheet with the answer key and apply the marking and negative-marking rules in the 2026 examination notice. A tentative estimate can change if an answer is revised, a question is treated differently or normalization is applied under the notified rules. Category-wise cut-offs and shortlisting should not be described as official until SSC publishes them.
What comes next?
After the Commission resolves objections and declares the computer-based result, shortlisted candidates must follow the official stenography skill-test instructions for their chosen language and grade. Keep registration details, identity proof and relevant eligibility certificates ready, and practise transcription using the prescribed software, keyboard and font requirements. उत्तर कुंजी, प्रतिक्रिया पत्रक और परिणाम में अंतर
अस्थायी उत्तर कुंजी में आयोग द्वारा प्रारंभ में स्वीकृत उत्तर होते हैं। प्रतिक्रिया पत्रक में अभ्यर्थी द्वारा चुने गए विकल्प दर्ज रहते हैं। दोनों का मिलान करके संभावित अंक निकाले जा सकते हैं। आपत्तियों की जांच के बाद आयोग उत्तर बदल सकता है। इसलिए अनुमानित अंक को अंतिम परिणाम या आधिकारिक कट-ऑफ न मानें।
प्रतिक्रिया पत्रक कैसे प्राप्त करें?
- SSC की आधिकारिक वेबसाइट खोलें।
- आशुलिपिक ग्रेड C एवं D परीक्षा 2026 की उत्तर-कुंजी संबंधी सूचना चुनें।
- सूचना में दिए गए अभ्यर्थी लॉगिन पर जाएं।
- पंजीकरण संख्या तथा निर्धारित पासवर्ड से प्रवेश करें।
- प्रश्नपत्र, अस्थायी उत्तर कुंजी और अपना प्रतिक्रिया पत्रक सुरक्षित करें।

उत्तर पर आपत्ति कैसे दर्ज करें?
केवल आयोग की आधिकारिक आपत्ति प्रणाली का उपयोग करें। संबंधित प्रश्न चुनें, अपनी आपत्ति का स्पष्ट कारण और विश्वसनीय संदर्भ दें तथा लागू शुल्क जमा करें। भुगतान एवं आपत्ति की रसीद सुरक्षित रखें। निर्धारित समय समाप्त होने के बाद सुविधा बंद हो सकती है। अपना पासवर्ड अज्ञात व्यक्तियों के साथ साझा न करें।
आगे की चयन प्रक्रिया
आपत्तियों के निस्तारण के बाद आयोग अंतिम उत्तर कुंजी और कंप्यूटर आधारित परीक्षा का परिणाम जारी करेगा। सफल अभ्यर्थियों को निर्धारित आशुलिपि कौशल परीक्षा में भाग लेना होगा। चुनी हुई भाषा के अनुसार प्रतिलेखन, कुंजीपटल तथा अक्षररूप संबंधी निर्देश पढ़ें। हिंदी माध्यम चुनने वालों के लिए सितंबर 2026 का अलग Mangal Font संशोधन विशेष रूप से महत्वपूर्ण है।
