Open the official UPSC provisional answer-key page, select the subject PDF matching the paper you attempted, and compare the correct responses against the question-paper series and your own recorded responses. Ensure you use the correct examination session and paper.
What provisional means
A provisional key is not a final result, scorecard or selection list. The Commission may publish further instructions about representations or a final key. Do not assume an objection deadline or fee without reading the relevant official notice.
Score calculation and preparation
If calculating an indicative score, apply the marking and negative-marking rules of the CDS II 2026 notification; do not treat a self-calculated score as an official result. Use disputed questions to revise concepts in English usage, current and static general knowledge, and elementary mathematics.

अंक गणना और तैयारी
संभावित अंक निकालते समय CDS II 2026 की आधिकारिक अंकन तथा ऋणात्मक अंकन व्यवस्था लागू करें। स्वयं निकाले अंक को आधिकारिक परिणाम न मानें। संदिग्ध प्रश्नों से अंग्रेजी, सामान्य ज्ञान और प्रारंभिक गणित के विषयों का पुनराभ्यास करें।
