The city was one of the largest and most sophisticated settlements of the Mature Harappan Civilization.
Its archaeological remains include the Great Bath, extensive drainage systems, numerous wells, planned streets, residential buildings, seals, craft objects and the bronze figurine popularly called the Dancing Girl.
