Correct Answer
B. Dr. Rajendra PrasadB.
Explanation
According to the source, Dr.
Rajendra Prasad was Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Constituent Assembly.
He was also the permanent President of the Constituent Assembly and appears as chairman of several committees in the source's committee table.
The table identifies Jawaharlal Nehru with the Union Powers Committee and Union Constitution Committee, K.
M.
Munshi with the Order of Business Committee, and G.
V.
Mavalankar with the committee relating to the functions of the Constituent Assembly.
These similar committee names can create confusion in examinations.
For the Steering Committee specifically, the correct source-based answer is Dr.
Rajendra Prasad.
