Scientists associated with the Zoological Survey of India have reported a new species of slender gecko named Hemiphyllodactylus venkatadri.
Zoological Survey of India से जुड़े वैज्ञानिकों ने slender gecko की एक नई प्रजाति की पहचान की है, जिसका नाम Hemiphyllodactylus venkatadri रखा गया है।

- The species was discovered in the Tirumala hill ranges of Andhra Pradesh. / यह प्रजाति आंध्र प्रदेश की तिरुमला पहाड़ियों में खोजी गई।

Features | विशेषताएँ
It is a small slender gecko, measuring only a little over two inches in length. The species has short limbs and characteristic structures near the base of its tail that help distinguish it taxonomically.
यह छोटे आकार का slender gecko है जिसकी लंबाई लगभग दो इंच से थोड़ी अधिक होती है। इसके अंग छोटे होते हैं तथा पूँछ के आधार के पास विशिष्ट संरचनाएँ इसकी पहचान में सहायता करती हैं।
