What is INVAR? | इनवार क्या है?
INVAR is a gun-launched anti-tank guided missile designed for use from compatible tank platforms, particularly the T-90 main battle tank.
इनवार एक तोप से छोड़ा जाने वाला टैंक-रोधी निर्देशित प्रक्षेपास्त्र है। इसे विशेष रूप से टी-90 मुख्य युद्धक टैंक जैसे उपयुक्त टैंक मंचों से दागने के लिए बनाया गया है।

The missile belongs to a Russian-origin weapon family. Bharat Dynamics Limited produces INVAR missiles in India under a licensed-production arrangement.

INVAR can be fired through the 125 mm main gun barrel of a compatible T-90 tank. This allows the tank to engage targets at distances beyond the effective range of some conventional tank ammunition.
इनवार को उपयुक्त टी-90 टैंक की 125 मिलीमीटर मुख्य तोप की नली से दागा जा सकता है। इससे टैंक कुछ पारंपरिक गोला-बारूद की प्रभावी दूरी से अधिक दूर स्थित लक्ष्यों पर प्रहार कर सकता है।

The commonly cited maximum range is approximately 5 kilometres, or 5,000 metres. A range of 50 kilometres is incorrect for this missile.
इसकी सामान्यतः बताई जाने वाली अधिकतम मारक दूरी लगभग 5 किलोमीटर अर्थात 5,000 मीटर है। इस प्रक्षेपास्त्र की मारक दूरी 50 किलोमीटर बताना गलत है।
Guidance System | मार्गदर्शन प्रणाली
INVAR uses semi-automatic laser beam-riding guidance. The missile follows a laser guidance beam aligned with the target through the tank's fire-control system.
इनवार अर्ध-स्वचालित लेज़र किरण-आधारित मार्गदर्शन प्रणाली का उपयोग करता है। प्रक्षेपास्त्र टैंक की अग्नि-नियंत्रण प्रणाली द्वारा लक्ष्य की दिशा में भेजी गई लेज़र किरण के अनुरूप आगे बढ़ता है।
Warhead | युद्धशीर्ष
The missile uses a tandem shaped-charge warhead designed to defeat tanks equipped with explosive reactive armour. The first charge helps counter the reactive armour, while the following charge attacks the underlying armour.
इस प्रक्षेपास्त्र में क्रमिक आकारित-विस्फोटक युद्धशीर्ष लगाया जाता है, जिसका उद्देश्य विस्फोटक प्रतिक्रियाशील कवच वाले टैंकों को नष्ट करना है। पहला विस्फोटक भाग बाहरी प्रतिक्रियाशील कवच को निष्प्रभावी करने में सहायता करता है और दूसरा भाग उसके नीचे के कवच पर प्रहार करता है।
