PM CARES Fund is a public charitable trust created in March 2020 to provide emergency relief and disaster-related assistance. The audited statements for FY 2024–25 show a closing balance of ₹8,452.07 crore as of 31 March 2025.

- Total spending in FY 2024–25 was only ₹87.85 lakh (roughly 0.01% of the closing balance); nearly all of this (₹87.84 lakh) went to the PM CARES for Children Scheme.
