Refraction of Light / प्रकाश का अपवर्तन
The bending of a ray of light when it passes from one medium to another is called refraction.
Light ray का एक medium से दूसरे medium में जाने पर bend होना Refraction कहलाता है।

Total Internal Reflection – TIR / पूर्ण आंतरिक परावर्तन
When light travels from a denser to a rarer medium and the angle of incidence exceeds the critical angle, light is reflected back into the denser medium. This phenomenon is called Total Internal Reflection.
जब light denser medium से rarer medium की ओर जाती है और angle of incidence critical angle से अधिक होता है, तो light वापस denser medium में reflect हो जाती है। इसे Total Internal Reflection कहते हैं।
