The length of a rectangle is increased by 25%. By what percentage should its breadth be decreased so that its area remains unchanged?

Explanationव्याख्या

For unchanged area, 1.25 × new breadth factor = 1.
So breadth factor = 1
1.25 = 0.8.
Hence breadth must decrease by 20%.
