Article 60 contains the provision concerning the oath or affirmation by the President.
Before entering upon office, the President takes an oath or makes an affirmation to faithfully execute the office of President, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution and the law, and devote himself or herself to the service and well-being of the people of India.
