UIIC Administrative Officer Recruitment 2026 – 225 Scale-I Posts
Latest Update: United India Insurance Company Limited (UIIC), a Government of India undertaking, has announced recruitment of 225 Administrative Officers (Scale I) under reference HO:HRM:REC:AO:1:2026 dated 7 September 2026. Online registration started on 8 September 2026 and closes on 28 September 2026. The recruitment consists of 200 Generalist and 25 Hindi Officer vacancies.

Educational Qualification
Generalists: Graduate or Postgraduate degree in any discipline from a recognised University with at least 60% marks; the minimum is 55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates. The required qualification must have been completed by 30 June 2026.
Hindi Officers: A Master's degree from a recognised University through one of the Hindi-English combinations prescribed in the notification, with at least 60% marks or 55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates. Candidates should check the exact language/medium combination rather than assuming any Master's degree in Hindi is automatically sufficient.
Working knowledge of computers is mandatory.
Age Limit
The normal age limit is 21–30 years as on 30 June 2026. Candidates should have been born within the notified date range. Upper-age relaxation includes provisions for SC/ST, OBC-NCL, PwBD, eligible ex-servicemen, certain women candidates and other categories under the detailed notification.
Application Fee
Applicants other than SC/ST/PwBD and permanent UIIC employees pay ₹1,000 plus applicable GST. SC/ST/PwBD candidates and permanent UIIC employees pay ₹250 service charges plus applicable GST, according to the current notification information.
Salary and Benefits
The notified basic-pay scale is ₹82,485–₹1,56,745 through the prescribed increments. Approximate gross pay is reported at around ₹1.10 lakh per month at metropolitan centres. Benefits can include Gratuity, LTS, medical benefits, Group Personal Accident Insurance, NPS and leased accommodation according to Company rules.
Selection Process
Selection comprises Tier-I Preliminary Examination, Tier-II Main Examination and Interview. The Main Examination includes the applicable objective and descriptive components. Current notification information also provides negative marking of one-fourth of the marks assigned to an objective question for a wrong answer.
Service Conditions
Selected Administrative Officers undergo probation according to Company rules. Current notification information also contains a minimum-service undertaking/bond condition.
