UPSSSC PET 2026 Correction Form – Last Date 8 September
Latest Update: The fresh application period for UPSSSC PET 2026 has ended. Candidates who already submitted their application can use the permitted correction and fee-adjustment facility up to 8 September 2026. The extended fresh-application deadline was 7 September. Therefore, 8 September must not be described as a new-registration deadline.
Overview
UPSSSC issued Preliminary Eligibility Test 2026 under Advertisement No. 16-Exam/2026. PET is a common preliminary eligibility/screening examination used for shortlisting candidates for various subsequent UPSSSC recruitments; it is not itself a fixed-vacancy recruitment.

Eligibility and Age
Minimum educational qualification is High School/Class 10 or equivalent from a recognised Board. Higher-qualified candidates can also participate subject to other conditions. The reported age range is 18–40 years as on 1 July 2026, with applicable relaxation under UP Government/UPSSSC rules.

Exam Pattern
The current PET scheme is reported as 100 objective questions for 100 marks in 2 hours, with one-fourth negative marking for an incorrect answer. Candidates should use the official UPSSSC syllabus for final preparation.
