Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test UTET 2026 / उत्तराखंड शिक्षक पात्रता परीक्षा UTET 2026
Uttarakhand Board of School Education has announced UTET 2026 for teacher eligibility at primary and upper-primary levels. UTET-I is for Classes 1–5 and UTET-II is for Classes 6–8. / उत्तराखंड विद्यालयी शिक्षा परिषद ने शिक्षक पात्रता के लिए UTET 2026 आयोजित किया है। UTET-I कक्षा 1–5 और UTET-II कक्षा 6–8 के लिए है।
Current Status / वर्तमान स्थिति
The application deadline was 03 August 2026, fee payment closed on 06 August and modification was available from 08–11 August. The examination is scheduled for 29 September 2026. / आवेदन बंद हैं और परीक्षा 29 सितंबर 2026 को निर्धारित है।

UTET-I Eligibility / UTET-I पात्रता
Primary-level eligibility includes the prescribed Senior Secondary/10+2 with D.El.Ed/BTC/B.El.Ed or equivalent NCTE-recognised teacher-education combinations. Certain graduate plus D.El.Ed routes are also recognised under the notified conditions. / प्राथमिक स्तर के लिए 12वीं के साथ D.El.Ed/BTC/B.El.Ed या निर्धारित शिक्षक-प्रशिक्षण qualification लागू है।
UTET-II Eligibility / UTET-II पात्रता
Upper-primary eligibility includes Bachelor's degree with D.El.Ed/BTC, B.Ed, B.Ed Special Education or other NCTE-recognised qualification. Certain 10+2 plus four-year B.El.Ed/BA-B.Ed/B.Sc-B.Ed routes are also eligible according to the notification. / कक्षा 6–8 के लिए Graduation + D.El.Ed/B.Ed/B.Ed Special Education या निर्धारित Integrated Teacher Education qualification लागू है।
Paper Structure / परीक्षा संरचना
- UTET-I: Primary teacher eligibility for Classes I–V.
- UTET-II: Elementary/upper-primary teacher eligibility for Classes VI–VIII.
Candidates who applied for the appropriate level should follow the current UBSE syllabus and exam instructions. / उम्मीदवार अपने चुने हुए पेपर के आधिकारिक syllabus के अनुसार तैयारी करें।
Preparation Strategy / तैयारी रणनीति
Focus on Child Development & Pedagogy, language papers, Mathematics, Environmental Studies and subject-specific Mathematics/Science or Social Studies areas according to the selected paper. / Child Development & Pedagogy, Language, Maths, EVS तथा Paper-II के subject-specific भागों की तैयारी करें।
