India participated in the Second World Summit for Social Development held in Doha, Qatar. The summit was convened by the United Nations to renew international commitments relating to poverty eradication, employment, decent work and social inclusion.
भारत ने Doha, Qatar में आयोजित Second World Summit for Social Development में भाग लिया। यह summit United Nations द्वारा poverty eradication, employment, decent work और social inclusion से संबंधित वैश्विक प्रतिबद्धताओं को पुनः मजबूत करने के लिए आयोजित किया गया।

The official summit was held from 4 to 6 November 2025 at the Qatar National Convention Centre in Doha.

First World Summit for Social Development | पहला विश्व सामाजिक विकास शिखर सम्मेलन
The first World Summit for Social Development was held in Copenhagen, Denmark, from 6 to 12 March 1995. It produced the Copenhagen Declaration on Social Development and a Programme of Action.
पहला World Summit for Social Development 6 से 12 मार्च 1995 तक Copenhagen, Denmark में आयोजित हुआ। इसमें Copenhagen Declaration on Social Development और Programme of Action को अपनाया गया।
Ten Copenhagen Commitments | Copenhagen की दस प्रतिबद्धताएँ
The 1995 summit established ten broad commitments dealing with issues such as poverty eradication, employment, social integration, equality between women and men, access to education and health and international cooperation.
1995 summit में poverty eradication, employment, social integration, women और men के बीच equality, education और health तक पहुँच तथा international cooperation से संबंधित दस व्यापक commitments तय किए गए।
Doha Political Declaration | दोहा राजनीतिक घोषणा
The Second Summit reaffirmed the principles of the Copenhagen Declaration and focused on moving from commitments towards implementation. The Doha Political Declaration was formally endorsed during the summit process.
Second Summit ने Copenhagen Declaration के principles की पुनः पुष्टि की और commitments से आगे बढ़कर implementation पर बल दिया। Summit process के दौरान Doha Political Declaration को औपचारिक रूप से endorse किया गया।
