What is an Adjective? / Adjective क्या है?
An adjective is a word that describes or modifies a noun or pronoun.
Adjective वह शब्द है जो किसी Noun या Pronoun की विशेषता, संख्या, मात्रा या अन्य गुण बताता है।
Examples:

an intelligent boy
Adjective of Quality / गुणवाचक विशेषण
It tells us what kind of person or thing is being described.
यह किसी व्यक्ति या वस्तु का गुण बताता है।

Adjective of Quantity / परिमाणवाचक विशेषण
It tells us how much.
यह मात्रा बताता है।

It tells us how many or in what order.

Here “this” modifies “book”.
